God Created Woman

is an amazing film.
Brigitte bardot and St. Tropez scenery
are definitely two reasons to see it

the culture, the lifestyle, the clothes are so rich and vivid
I can already smell the salt from the ocean town.

"The film narrates the experience of Juliette,
an 18-year old orphan with a high level of sexual energy.
She makes no effort to restrain her natural sensuality - lying nude in her yard, habitually kicking her shoes off and walking around barefoot, and disregarding many societal restraints and the opinions of others. These factors cause a stir and attract the attentions of most of the men around her."

15/2

I celebrated my birthday recently,
I felt very much wiser (I stayed away from the vodka melon)
and (if possible) 5,565,565 more self aware than I've ever been.

(its a pretty swell feeling.)

bleurgfjkk?

this new media shit is beyond annoying.

I'm learning about new features on blogger.
but then I find out about a whole

NEW! THING! AMAZING! MUST-TRY! phenomena
that is wordpress.

wordpress is a coders wetdream (supposedly)
only having the rudimentary web skills knowledge

I pressed on confident and relaxed,
Thinking I would set up the whole "SHE BANG" in
an hour with room for 2pm screening of the Hills.

What a FOOL! I was.

this is akin to finally figuring out myspace theme coding
to have FACEBOOK show up
so many things in my face all the time.
(widgets, typekit, CSS Y Y Y Y Y Y are you so unimpressed
and refusing to work for me?)

I have given up for now.
but I will be back with a vengeance (and a nerd in tow)

(happier things from summer:
fruit, Auckland harbour, Algae and new shoes )

New ness

Have decided to compile a rather late list of 2011 resolutions

go out more
get a new job
think less do more
learn an instrument
be more patient
learn to drive
BLOG!

I'm scared of having a gap year
I have no idea what to study next!

I've also decided to start following my friends advice and will endeavour to do 7 creative things daily

(I think this is the influencing the universe/power of positive thought mumbo jumbo that is all the rage atm.)

posting photos counts as a creative thing right?

Hello. To whoever it is out there

I've done it.

I've finally jumped on the bandwagon and decided to create a blog.
more so for personal reasons than grandiose visions of featuring
in teen vogue
or selling my wares.

nobody tells you this.
but when you grow up there is no book or wise dumbledore-esque figure telling you what you should do next

I am in a state of limbo,
so I figured before I go mad or melancholy I should create something.
ANYTHING to keep my mind hands and heart busy.

so there you have it. my first post

(will think of something better to write next time, until then here is a photo I took of Tiritiri Matangi, Bird Island of the north coast of New Zealand)
